A fresh recipe for warm summers
When summer is too hot and you do not want to eat warm meals, you can opt for a fresh salad. It won’t take too much time to prepare this one. If you like, you can put it in a container and eat it at a park or on the beach. It is a complete meal, but if you do not feel full after eating it, you can always use it as a side dish.
Ingredients:
- 500 gr salad
- 200 gr of cherry tomatoes
- 100 gr of parmesan
- 50 gr of olives
- 100 gr of bread
- 300 gr of chicken
- Salt, oil and vinegar
Process:
- Start by washing the cherry tomatoes and the salad. Proceed with cutting them and place them in a bowl.
- Cut the parmesan in small flakes and add them together with cherry tomatoes and cheese. Now take the olives and put them in the bowl too.
- Now you can pass on to prepare the chicken. If you have the entire piece, proceed by cutting it into small steaks and grill it on the stove. When it will be cooked, let it cool down for 5 minutes.
- While you are waiting for the chicken to get cold, you can proceed with toasting the bread and add it to the bowl.
- After the chicken has cooled down you can add it to the bowl and you can proceed with dressing the salad with salt, oil and vinegar.
Variants:
- If you do not like some ingredients, you can substitute them. You can also try different dressing as for example yogurt based sauce.
