Chestnuts marmalade cake

Being a fan of autumn means being a fan of chestnuts, at least for where I grew up. I love making any sort of food with them and here you can find an easy dessert which will take no longer than an hour to be ready.


  • 500 gr chestnut marmalade
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 gr dark chocolate
  • 50 gr butter


  1. Start by whipping the eggs in a bowl and add the chestnut marmalade Image 1. Mix the two ingredients together until they become creamy and well blended Image 2.
  2. Put the dark chocolate and the butter in a pot and let them melt Image 3. After they melt, add the ingredients in the bowl and mix everything together. The consistency should be creamy.
  3. Put the mixture in a rectangular shaped baking tray and spread the mixture evenly with the help of a spatula Image 4.
  4. Bake it at 180° for 30 minutes. The cake will not reach a totally hard consistency and the heart of the cake will remain creamy Image 5.
