Corail Lentil Bread

An alternative to other gluten free breads

Looking for an alternative to the usual gluten-free bread? Try this delicious coral lentil bread! It’s not only gluten-free but also packed with nutrients and flavor. Perfect for any meal or as a tasty snack, this bread can be your go-to recipe for a tasty alternative bread.


Ingredients for 1 loaf

  • 300 gr Red lentils
  • 120 ml warm water
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 3.6 gr instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 30 gr seeds mix (facultative)

Process:

  1. Start by soaking the coral lentils in water for 6 hours or overnight. Make sure to use twice the volume of water as the lentils.
  2. Once the lentils are ready, drain them and add them to a mixer along with warm water, olive oil, instant yeast, and salt. Blend everything together until you get a smooth, creamy mixture. You can use either a blender or a mixer for this step.
  3. Next, pour the mixture into a rectangular baking dish and let it rest for 30 minutes. This will allow the yeast to work its magic.
  4. For a delightful finishing touch, sprinkle mix seeds or fresh rosemary on top of the bread.
  5. Finally, bake the bread at 180°C (350°F) for 45 minutes.
