A nice and healthy finger food
One day I decided that I wanted to eat some nice finger food which was also healthy. However, I did not have much energy to cook any elaborate dish. Tough challenge to find a solution that accommodated all my wishes, but after browsing a bit on the internet I found the right recipe. In case you need to prepare finger food for an aperitivo or a party and you do not have enough energy to prepare elaborated snacks, I highly recommend this recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 can of chickpeas/beans
- 2 Tbsp of olive oil
- 2 Tbsp of flour
- 1 Tbsp of Salt
- 1 Tbsp of Pepper
- 1 Tbsp of Curry
- 1 Tbsp of Sweet paprika
Process:
- The first step is to take the chickpeas/beans and put them in a colander so that you can remove the water. Leave the beans under the running water for a few second and make sure to wash away their sauce. Leave them in the colander for at 30 least minutes. After the time passed, you can place them on a kitchen paper and dry them.
- Pre-heat the oven at 160° and then proceed with seasoning the chickpeas/beans.
- At this point you can put the chickpeas/beans into a bowl and pour flour, salt, pepper, curry and sweet paprika.
- Now place a foil of baking paper on the baking tray and put the chickpeas/beans inside. Pour onto them the two tablespoons of olive oil.
- Put the baking tray in the oven and let it cook for 30 minutes. They should reach a crispy consistency.
- You can now serve them with some curry yogurt sauce or any other sauce you like or have in the fridge. Enjoy!
Variants:
- As for now, I tried this recipe with both chickpeas and beans. They both turned out really good. You can use any spice you like. One time, I used the thyme as a third spice.
