Muffins

Are you invited at a last minute dinner and you don’t know what to bring or prepare on such a short notice? Well, try this recipe out. It will take only 25 minutes and you will have your muffins ready to serve or bring along at the dinner.


Ingredients for the dough:

  • 200 gr flour
  • 100 gr sugar
  • (125 ml) 1/2 glass of oil
  • (125 ml) 1/2 glass of milk
  • 15 gr backing powder
  • 1 egg

Ingredients for the filling:

  • Sprinkles
  • Chocolate chips
  • Marmalade
  • Chocolate cream

Process:

  1. Start by mixing together all the dry ingredients: flour, backing powder and sugar. Mix for 2/3 minutes so that sugar and backing powder will be blended and you want taste them when cooked.
  2. Add the oil, milk and egg. Wisk until the mixture becomes homogeneous and liquid.
  3. Now take some muffin stamps and pour a table spoon of mixture in them Image 1.
  4. Add some filling on top. So either a teaspoon of chocolate cream or marmalade, or chocolate chips or sprinkles. Image 2
  5. Once you finished filling them all up, bake at 180°C for 15 minutes until they reach a golden colour.

Variants:

  • You can decorate and fill the muffins with many different things. One of my favorite filling is banana with chocolate chips and cinnamon.

Tips

  • I suggest you to really blend together the dry ingredients in the first passage, otherwise you will end up having a weird taste while eating the muffins.
