Red cabbage and walnuts salad

A winter salad

If you like red cabbage, but you are tired to cook it, you can try it raw in a salad. The walnuts together with cheese and red cabbage form a fresh and crunchy salad perfect for winter days.

Ingredients for one person

  • 200 gr Red cabbage
  • 40 gr feta cheese
  • 6 walnuts
  • olive oil, balsamic, salt
  • 100 gr Cherry Tomatoes (optional)


  1. Start by washing the cabbage and cut it in half. Depending on the size of the cabbage, make sure to have a big knife. Then proceed by cutting it into thin slices or pieces as per your preference. Place the cabbage into a bowl Image 1 and 2.
  2. Next step is to cut the feta cheese into small cubes and add it to the bowl Image 3.
  3. Crush the walnuts into small pieces and add them to the bowl Image 4.
  4. if you opt for the cherry tomatoes, then wash them and slice them in half. Add them to the bowl.
  5. Finally dress your salad with olive oil, balsamic and salt. Stir the salad with the tablespoon so that the dressing is evenly spread out and enjoy it Image 5.
