A colorful Salad

A colorful summer salad

As summer is approaching, salads are one of the main dishes consumed in Italy. This salad does not include normal iceberg salad or lettuce. However, it is still a fresh and easy dish to prepare in summer days.

Ingredients:

  • 250 gr of feta cheese
  • 3 sticks of celery
  • 100 gr Cashew
  • Dried tomatoes in oil


Process:

  1. Take the celery and wash it. Then cut it in round shapes (about 1cm) and put it in a bowl.
  2. Take the feta cheese and cut it in cubes. Then add it to the bowl together with the celery.
  3. Take the dry tomatoes, cut them and add it to the bowl.
  4. As last step, take the cashew and cut them in half, before putting them in the bowl.
  5. Add oil, salt and pepper as much as you like.


Tips:

  • You can try to add as many ingredients as you like. Also do not forget to add fresh herbs, if you have them in your garden.
