A self-made savoury pie dough
If you like savoury pies but you do not want to buy the ready dough or you are gluten intolerant you can try this recipe. It is fairly fast to prepare and you will need few ingredients.
Ingredients for one pie
- 200 gr wholewheat flour (it can be substitute with dark flour or normal flour)
- 100 ml lukewarm water
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- Salt
Process:
- Start by pouring the flour in a bowl with the salt and mix with a fork for a couple of times Image 1 and Image 2.
- Add water and oil to the bowl and mix again with a fork until crumbles start to form Image 3. At this point continue kneading with your hands and form a smooth ball with the dough Image 4 and Image 5.
- Let the dough rest for half an hour. Then you can shape it for your savoury dough. I shaped it round with a roll pin Image 6.
- Then I put it in a round baking shape and topped it with leeks, parmesan, salt, pepper and a bit of oil Image 7.
- Baked it for 15/20 min at 180°.
